Participation of a faculty member from KTI in the International Conference on Kurdish Studies at Sofia University

 Kurdistan Technical Institute  honored  to declare  the virtual participation of one of its faculty member in the International Scientific Conference on Kurdish Studies, hosted by Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Bulgaria .  This conference brought together 49 scholars and professors from 14 countries, highlighting a diverse range of academic perspectives on Kurdish studies. Rizan Nouraldin Hassani as the representer of the institute, contributed to the second panel on “Identity, Language, and Gender in Kurdish Literature” held on the first day of the event. Her presentation was an analysis of  a novel titled Betting on Helale’s Fate by renowned Kurdish writer Ata Nahai, which attracted the participants’ attention. 

The two-day conference On October 27-28, 2025, featured six panels, two keynote speeches, and a roundtable discussion, fostering scholarly exchange on Kurdish identity, language, history, and cultural creativities.
