KTI Dormitory

KTI\'s dormitory gives students a safe, comfortable and affordable home just minutes from campus. It sits in the A2 building in Sulaimani Heights, built to a modern standard and designed for both comfort and study.

One building, two separate sections

The A2 building has six floors and can house up to 500 students in total.

•        Floors 1 to 3 are dedicated to female students.

•        Floors 4 to 6 are dedicated to male students.

The two sections are fully separated: girls and boys enter and leave through two different entrances, so each section keeps its own privacy and security. Dedicated study rooms give residents a quiet place to revise and work on assignments.

Room types and prices

Students can choose from three room sizes. The fewer people in a room, the more private it is; the larger rooms are the most affordable.

All prices are per student, per month.

How to apply

Students who would like to stay in the dormitory should prepare the following documents:

1.     A copy of the unified national ID card (civil status identity and information card)

2.     Two personal photos

3.     Residence confirmation letter for your area

4.     Security code

5.     Marriage contract (if applicable)

6.     Letter from your workplace (if employed)

What to bring

Everything else is provided in the dormitory. Students only need to bring their own blankets, a pillow and food.
