Kurdistan Technical Institute once again set an unprecedented record

Kurdistan Technical Institute (KTI) has been ranked 1501+ out of 2526 universities in 130 countries in The Impact Ranking Kurdistan Technical Institute is the first and only institute in Kurdistan, Iraq and even the region listed in the ranking and competes alongside the major universities ahead of several public and private universities. 

It is worth mentioning that our institute has been ranked 61st among more than 250 universities and institutes in Iraq. In the Kurdistan Region, KTI ranked 12th among more than 60 universities, institutes and despite the fact that KTI is participating in the ranking for the first time.

The Impact Ranking is one of the Times\\' rankings for higher education, based on a number of criteria for the realization and achievement of the 17 United Nations Development Goals (SDGs). This ranking is based on the activities of universities and colleges in the year (2022-2023). In particular, research activities, attention, university relations with the community and outside the university, and the quality of education and teaching. 

KTI has provided data for seven objectives and we plan to provide data for all 17 objectives next year. 

• Goal 3: Good health and well-being (801-1000)

• Goal 4: Quality of teaching and learning (1501+)

• Goal 5: Gender Difference (1001-1500)

• Goal 6: Clean water and purification (601-800)

• Goal 11: Sustainable Urban and Community Development (1001+)

• Goal 12: Consumption and Production Responsibility (801+)

• Goal 17: Coordination and Communications to Achieve Objectives Degree (1501+)

The Times of Higher Education is a specialized, important and renowned institution for evaluating thousands of universities and higher education institutions around the world, has several different rankings. The British institution is one of the top three ranking institutions in the world.
