Two department heads at the Kurdistan Technical Institute represented their department in a meeting regarding academic leadership and the management of higher education institutions.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (a courtesy visit to academic women) visited the staff at universities and scientific institutions in the Kurdistan Region on Sunday, 15/2/2026, in Erbil.
The purpose of the (courtesy visit to academic women), according to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, was to discuss the role of women in leading higher education institutions, the role of women in the processes of administrative efficiency and establishment, and the role of women in research and development.
The meeting was held under the supervision of Dr. Aram Muhammad Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with the readiness of university and higher education institution leaders to discuss the role of women in leadership within higher education institutions, the role of women in the process of establishing effectiveness and development, and the role of women in research and education.
During the meeting, the proposals and suggestions in a prepared draft were presented and can serve as a basis for general policy reform aimed at strengthening the role and impact of women within universities and higher education institutions.
