Technical Institute has divided its campus parking into six zones, each set
aside for a specific group of users. The zoning keeps entrances clear, cuts the
time spent looking for a space, and makes sure staff, council members and
students each have a dedicated area.
On the campus
parking map, every zone has its own color and number. White arrows show the
direction of entry into each zone. Find your group below, check where your zone
is, and use only that zone.

Academic Garage
1 is a long strip on the north side of campus, running along the main road
beside the north wing. It is reserved for academic staff: lecturers, heads of
department and other teaching staff.
•
Entry: from the main road on the north
side, entering downward toward the building as the arrow shows.
•
Best for: staff whose classes and offices are
in the north wing.
•
Note: this zone borders the main road, so
keep the road edge clear and do not stop on the roadway while waiting for a
space.
Academic Garage
2 is a smaller, enclosed area in the inner courtyard, between the north and
central buildings. It is also reserved for academic staff and is the closest
parking to the central teaching blocks.
•
Entry: through the inner campus lane,
entering from the north as the arrow shows.
•
Best for: academic staff teaching in the
central blocks.
•
Note: space is limited, so park neatly
within the bay and do not block the courtyard walkways or building doors.
The Council
Garage is in the north-east corner of campus, next to the main road. It is
reserved for members of the Institute Council and their official guests.
•
Entry: from the north-east corner,
entering downward as the arrow shows.
•
Best for: council members and official
visitors attending meetings.
•
Note: keep this zone free at all times;
other staff and students may not use it, even briefly.
The
Administrative Staff Garage runs along the east side of campus, next to the
main building and the main entrance. It is reserved for administrative staff:
registration, finance, HR, quality assurance, media and other offices.
•
Entry: from the east-side road, entering
as the arrows show.
•
Best for: staff working in the main administrative
building.
•
Note: this zone is near the main
entrance, so keep the entrance and pedestrian paths fully clear.
The 1st
Students Garage is a large open area on the south side, in front of the campus.
It is the main student parking area and the first one student reach when
arriving from the south.
•
Entry: from the south-side access,
entering as the arrow shows.
•
Best for: students attending classes in the
southern and central blocks.
•
Note: fill spaces from the far end first
so the entry stays clear at busy times, especially the start of the morning
session.
The 2nd
Students Garage is the long strip on the west side of campus, running almost
its full length. It is the overflow area for students and should be used when
the 1st Students Garage is full.
•
Entry: from the west side, entering and
moving south through the zone as the arrows show.
•
Best for: students arriving at peak times or
attending classes in the western blocks.
•
Note: follow the one-way direction shown
by the arrows and do not double-park along the lane.
These rules
apply in every zone, for staff, students and visitors alike.
1.
Park
only in the zone assigned to your group.
2.
Enter
each zone in the direction shown by the arrows on the map.
3.
Park
within one space, and do not take up two spaces.
4.
Never
block entrances, exits, emergency routes, fire access or pedestrian walkways.
5.
Do
not double-park or leave a vehicle on the access lanes.
6.
Drive
slowly on campus and give way to pedestrians.
7.
Visitors
should report to the main entrance to be directed to a suitable space.
8.
Do
not leave vehicles on campus overnight without permission from security.
Campus security
will monitor all zones. Vehicles parked in the wrong zone, or in a way that
blocks access, may be asked to move, and repeated cases will be reported to the
institute administration.
