
All participants of Kurdistan Technical Institute were awarded in the third annual Maya Festival

On April 22–23, 2025, Kurdistan University–Hawler, in partnership with the Kurdish Institute in Paris, hosted the 4th International Conference on Kurdish Studies, which drew 100 scholars from 27 nations.
Dr. Pegah Ali Mardan Saedi and Assistant Lecturer Rizan Nouraldin Hassani, both instructors at Kurdistan Technical Institute, presented a joint paper at this conference titled "Imaginary Resistance: Fantasy and Identity Construction in Bakhtiar Ali\'s The Last Pomegranate of the World through a Žižekian Lens." Their presentation drew notable interest from attendees.
The conference, which focused on the Kurdish issue in the new Middle East and other pressing global issues.
