Registration

The Registry Directorate is one of the important directorates of the Kurdistan Technical Institute, and all the main work of students is in this section. In the Registry Directorate, all information provided by the students during their studies is recorded with everything they request throughout their academic lives and is stored in their own files

It is the duty of the Registry Directorate to protect and store all information that is available in the student file, such as (personal information, certificates, student administrative orders, support letters..etc.) or anything else specific to the students. Registration Administration is responsible for: .

 

First: Admission

 

1. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research will approve students who submit applications through the form.

 

2.  Co-ordinating and instructing students who want to change their departments or transfer them to regional institutes will be in accordance with the instructions and conditions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

3. Giving Identity Cards and issuing administrative decree for students.

Second: Certificates

1. Giving english-language certificates to students who have completed their studies.

2. Granting  graduation support to graduates who are employed.

3. Giving wall certificates to graduates in all three languages (Kurdish, Arabic, English)

 

Third: Support Letter

1.

Providing support to students who want to be supported to continue their studies for the places they are applied for.

Issuing rules and instructions that include students .2.

 

Fourth: Transferring Departments

A-Transferring within the institute\'s departments  :

Admission for private institutions is Online, therefore, changing departments is through this system:

1.Through the cancelation of the  registered department, and re-register in the desired department.

2. Students can transfer from one department to another if the desired department has the empty seat, and the admission period is not over.

 

b. Transferring from one institute to another:

Students can transfer their studies from  Kurdistan Technical Institute to another institute, and vice versa, but all instructions from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Directorate of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Directorate of Private Education must be taken into account as follows:

1. The institute that students are likely to follow must have the same education system.

The students will get the consent letter from the KTI\'s registration to another institute\'s registration  regarding the rules and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and both institutes must have the same criteria. 

The institute registration should send the written letter to the ministry for approval. If the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research consent to the students\' requests, the decree will be issued, the files will be attached and sent to the registration of the students’ desired institute. 

Transferring will only be in the second stage, meaning that they have completed the first stage, and must have completed all transfering work from 1/7 to 8/30.

 

    Note

The transferring  and downgrading of the department are through mechanisms, which will be determined by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the year of students’ admission. .

   Mechanisms of Admission

The mechanism of students\' admission at the Kurdistan Technical Institute is the same mechanism that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Regional Government follows.

 

At the end of every year, the Institute will submit a plan for students to the ministry for next year.

 

After graduating from the twelfth grade of high school, students must fill out forms  through the ministry\'s  or institute\'s website. After that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research will announce the names of the first recipients, and after checking the files, documents, and legal requirements, they will decide whether  to accept them.

 

The Registration Structure

  Administrative of Registration Affairs

 

The registration administrative affairs are to supervise and manage all the work that is related to the students.

-        Issuance of institutional decree and acceptance of students from the institute

-         

-     - Issuance an administrative decree to award students\' diploma

-      

-     Issuance of the administrative decree of transferring the students.

-        Issuance the written  letter to the ministry of higher education and scientific research for different purposes

Tasks

-        Archive: The tasks will be to order, extract, and archive all documents that are registered or sent to the administration

 

-        Certificates: Issuing certificates to applicants and giving three types of certificates.

The certificate in Kurdish, Arabic and English, should be applied only for the employment of the student, and the applicant can receive it only once. After bringing a support letter to the place where the student has been employed.

Transcript: This certificate is issued in English language and is used for continuing education, consisting of grades from both stages of the student\'s education, if it is an annual system, But if it is a Bologna system, then the marks of four semesters would be on it.

The wall certificate : This type of certificate is only available in English  language and 20,000 thousand IQD will be taken from the applicant for each picture, by filling out the special receipt .

 

Note



Applicant can apply for more than one copy of the certificate, but 15 thousand IQD will be taken as a fee for each picture (this will also include a special receipt)

 

Generally, the tasks of the registration administrative include

 

Accepting students and creating files after receiving approval from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

 

Supporting students to the related parties during their study period.

 

 

 

Transferring students (from one institution to another) in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

 

Administrative Decrees 

 

The administrative decree of students’ admission: After the final decree issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/ The Directorate of Private Education, the administrative decree will be issued for them.

The decree will be issued to students who do not contact the Institute for more than a month after their admission to the Institute, so it will submit requests to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Directorate of Private Education to cancel their admission

 

 

Drop\'s ( dismissal) Decree: This decree will be issued to students who have been on two years in a row. ..

 

 

 

 

Freezing decree: It will be applied to students who ask for delay in their study.

 

Penalties decree: Guidance No. (2) of the year (2009) is applied for students who violate the guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

 

Failure decree will be issued for those students who absent rate more than 10% .

 

                        The administration\'s decree to raise the rate of absent: it is issued to students whose absent rate was based on a suitable reason such as (illness, funeral, and marriage) with evidence

 

The decree for students’ failure is issued for those students who are cheating in exam time,  after it has been proved.

 

Diploma Awarding decree is issued to the students, who have completed both their academic years successfully. These decrees will be issued after the final results of the second stage and the graduation ceremony will be issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Private Education Administration.

Dismissal decree  is issued for students who will be dismissed for any reason, whether temporarily or permanently.

 

 

Filling Out the Form

If you want to study at the Kurdistan Technical Institute, you must fill out the form below, then prepare the requirements which have been asked and visit the Institute\'s registry office.  

 

-        -         Before accepting from the institute the system is online, as in Zankoline and filled in the institute, i.e. the online system of the ministry and it is necessary to visit the institute to get the form and after filling and returning to the institute will be entered on  the system.

-        Whenever the form becomes online, the form must be filled with a Unicode font. To download the Unicode keyboard, click Your Device Type: Windows, Mac, IPhone or IPad, Android, (for this purpose we will notify the student on time).

 

-     Please use your email, because all the information you write goes to the email you are using, and you are responsible for any errors or shortcomings.
